ALEX ROSE (aka Nightblind) is a musician, producer, remixer, and songwriter.

He grew up in a thriving DIY scene in Santa Fe, NM, studied music engineering in Miami, FL, and spent a decade plus in Seattle, WA writing, recording and touring the world as keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist for the critically acclaimed rock band, Minus the Bear. Highlights from this era include performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, jamming with Daryl Hall on Live From Daryl’s House, and supporting the likes of Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, and Jimmy Eat World.

Since the mutual dissolution of the group in 2018, Rose has relocated to the UK and working as a music producer and session musician from his home studio. He has remixed Orchards, The One AM Radio, David Knudson, Fire-Toolz, A Sudden Burst of Colour, The Thermals, and Rah Rah. Production, mixing, and session performing highlights include Tiiva, Evil, Foxing, Rusty Maples, Nouela, Bionic Limbs, and Raf Vilar (Discography here).

Before joining Minus the Bear, he debuted as a solo performer at The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, and his bands in Seattle and Albuquerque supported The Shins, The Breeders, Ben Lee, Superdrag and many more.

As a producer, he enjoys guiding artists through the music creation process and providing insight from his experience into the peaks and valleys of life as an artist.
